Davenia Boothe
Program Coordinator

Davenia is a recent UNLV graduate and holds a Bachelor’s in Public Health. Being a product of CCSD, she always knew that she always wanted to give back to the school district, using her strengths to help their students. She would do so through volunteering with Mojave HS, from which she graduated, helping with coaching their Freshman volleyball team, acting as a mentor for students and even guest-speaking in classrooms about preparing oneself for college and life after high school. She also tutored K-12 students with Andson, inc., which allowed her to work closely with students of various learning levels and needs. She is not only excited to be a part of the Opportunity 180 Team, but eagerly anticipates the positive impact her work will make within the Nevada school system.

In her free time, Davenia enjoys cooking, spending quality time with her family and taking care of her many houseplants. Although she is not the outdoor type, she loves rainy days! On those few rainy days throughout the year, she finds comfort in curling up on the couch with her dog, Millie, and watching TV shows from the 90s and early 2000’s.
