Futuro Academy, founded by Clark County School District veteran teacher, Teach for America Alumn, and Nevada's first Building Excellent Schools Fellow, Ignacio Prado, initially opened its doors in Fall 2017 to kindergarten and first grade students in East Las Vegas. The school has grown from 116 students to serving 260 students in K-2nd grade (school year 2018-19).

Futuro plans to continue to grow a grade level per year until it is a fully-enrolled kindergarten through eighth grade school.

Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus (DPAC) was initially inspired by  local efforts to create a city-wide strategy to address educational inequity. Impressed by their academic success in other cities, Opportunity 180 invited DPAC to Southern Nevada, when they were offered a partnership by the Board at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy to improve student achievement. DPAC initially opened its doors in Fall 2017 to serve 85% of the same K-12th grade students.
