Lisa has a career history in Communications and Project Management. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2013. During college, Lisa worked for a local small business, Gaia Flowers, where she led digital communications and designed creative strategies. She also completed an internship within the digital engagement department at R&R Partners. Her professional career took off during her time with MassMedia Corporate Communications and at Paper & Home, where she refined her skills in project management and interpersonal relations. Lisa is overjoyed by opportunities to simultaneously challenge the creative and strategic functions of her mind. A second generation Las Vegas native, Lisa sees a deeply-rooted potential in this great city and is passionate about the opportunity to apply her skill set towards creating better education opportunities for Clark County students.
On her time off, you might find Lisa dressed as Beauty & the Beast‘s Belle, attending children’s hospitals and charitable events to lift the spirits of children undergoing life-altering circumstances. Lisa is also going on 2-years of volunteer work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), representing the best interests of children in the foster care system both in the courtroom and in the community.
